AAMIROO
About the Artist
Born in 2000 in Tehran, Iran, Amir Naghavi, aka AAMIROO, is deeply interested
in exploring the intersections of electronic and experimental sounds with
musical motifs from the SWANA region and beyond. Playing a wide range of
genres from bass to breaks, AAMIROO adopts a more genre-fluid approach to
his music. Currently a resident at Refuge Worldwide, he focuses on covering
music and its intersection with social and cultural themes. AAMIROO is
presently experimenting with introducing Iran's underrated pop music to
modern electronic dance music through a project called "SAHNEHTRONIX"
alongside other genre-blending projects that attempt to fuse traditional and
present-day sounds.
